Dr Diarmuid Verrier
Diarmuid Verrier received both his BA and PhD from NUIG. His doctoral work involved an investigation into the personality trait schizotypy. As well as looking at the psychometric properties of the most widely used instruments used to measure schizotypy, he also studied some of its cognitive and psychophysiological correlates.
Mr Sören Much
Sören Much is an Erasmus Trainee Researcher from the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. His Erasmus Trainee Programme is funded by the EU Leonardo programme for internships. Sören will be completing his CROLS internship from May – July 2010 after which he will return to Martin-Luther-Universität to complete his B.Sc. in Psychology. Following completion of his B.Sc., Sören plans to pursue a Master programme and ultimately a career in academic research. Sören’s research interests lie primarily in the fields of research methodology, psychology of sleep, and sensation and perception.
CROLS Summer Internship
Mr Kevin McInerney
Kevin Mc Inerney is completing a BA in Psychology (Hons) in the National University of Ireland, Galway. He completed a CROLS Summer Internship during the Summer of 2010. In Septemeber 2010, Kevin moved to Maastricht, where he will be completing one academic year in Maastricht University before returning to Galway to complete his bachelor’s degree. Kevin’s research interests are broad and he intends studying at a postgraduate level after he completes his bachelors’ degree.
